Our Community Planting Day took place on Sunday 15 May to replace the plants in the garden at the southern end of Mairangi Bay Village. The unsightly banana trees were removed and a wonderful team of community members rallied around to help with the new planting.
Thank you to our lovely community, families and businesses for helping on the day – especially ASB, Montrose Cafe. Bistro. Bar, The Hairdresser, Hair@ Surreal, You Travel Mairangi Bay and Sarah’s boutique.
A huge thank you also to Jo Martin (Business Association Coordinator), Julia Parfitt (Chair of the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board) and the Auckland Parks and Recreation Department.
