A 39-year-old man is to appear in court today charged with indecently assaulting a woman at the Sunnynook Bus Station a week ago.
The man, an Indonesian national, handed himself in to a police last night after CCTV footage was released on Monday.
Police say the man has been charged with indecent assault and was held in custody overnight.
He is expected to appear in the North Shore District Court this morning.
Police thanked media who assisted by publishing the CCTV footage and those who shared the images from the Waitemata Police Facebook page.
